…And “2 Ts” is about my babies! Lucille and Buster. They are the best gifts ever. This is one of their many adventures to Chipoop (AKA Chipotle, they prefer the one on Campbell because their friends the birds live in a cactus near that one). This is the last of the five comics I created and submitted in February. Now I’ll have to start adding new ones.
This one is pretty self explanatory. The other comics up ‘til now are titled “Movie Life” because they’re a blend of film/TV/etc. and real life. I could have called it “Film/TV/etc. Life but that’s not as catchy.
Anyways, this is titled “Bad Counselor” it’s about a “guy” (he might be a vampire or and alien or some kind of alien vampire hybrid…I’m not sure, haha) who maybe doesn’t understand people (or does and he’s just bad at his job, or is evil) and he’s a counselor so…It pretty much wrote itself…I hope to have several others like this is the future to so I hope you like this one…
So this one is a reference to both the Lord of the Rings and the 007, James Bond movie: GoldenEye. Both movies have the actor Sean Bean http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000293/ (who plays Boromir and 006, Alec Trevelyan), he’s a fun actor but in the movies I see, he usually plays bad guys or “that one guy that’s totally going to betray the team.”

The books are even more packed with cool Middle Earth (the world of the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit) stuff, and if you like audiobooks, the ones with Rob Inglis as the narrator are awesome. He’s my favorite narrator and he does a great job with Ursula K. Le Guin’s books too! “But you don’t have to take my word for it!”

Oh and that’s supposed to be a scientist guy bleeding on the floor with some “adventurer” types looking at him…Thus the torch…Haha…I’m terrible at this…

And my apologies for the slight misquote….How unprofessional.
So about a month and-a-half ago I learned what breaking up with my girlfriend really meant to me…(there was strife on both sides but mostly great times ^ ^ and a lack of pills — gotta take those thyroid pills). Anyways, to get through it I decided to do the things in my life that I’d been putting off (that and I suddenly had so much time on my hands with my school being over and having secured a good-paying job, only one that wouldn’t start for about half-a-month later, that…where was I…that or I could go back to playing video games forever — “research” I called it (And I’ll be posting some game bashing/loving comics too)…But really games that require mindless grinding (MMOs!) and ridiculous inventory management (Skyrim, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, etc.) should die…). Anywho, doing this art was part of my self-induced (art) therapy for me. Comics are fun and easy, please try it sometime! ^ ^
They’re not very flashy but they were intended for the local “cooledge” newspaper (and I like saving ink so I didn’t try much with the backgrounds and the dimensions are based on what I thought was going to fit in the paper so after the 5th comic (that’s how many I submitted before being turned down because they were too full) I may start changing them as my skill increases (hopefully, right?).
I know The Joker from Batman doesn’t like to explain jokes but for those who don’t get it I do (originally being a college newspaper I thought it would be neat if people stated up conversations like “yo, bro and/or hot girl…This make sense to you? I don’t get it either…Ya, what a moron. You like pizza dude and/or grrl?” Haha… Something like that…) I also like things that entertain as well as educate. Thus the Word of The Day style thingies at the bottom. Sometimes they are related to the comic other times… not so much. Please enjoy!
Oh and if you’re still reading I think I’m going to try for a post-a-day, and see if that works for me… Oh and the timing is pretty convenient for me to start this “foolish” venture. I hope your “day” is grand. Happy “April!”
